The organisers of the UK Green Business Awards 2026 have extended the entry deadline in response to strong demand, giving participants additional time to submit or update their applications.
New Deadline Details
The revised deadline now falls at 6pm on Friday 6 March 2026, following multiple requests for an extension. Organisers confirmed that the change applies to all entrants to ensure a fair and consistent process.
Participants who have already submitted entries may revise and resubmit their applications before the new deadline.
Finalists are still scheduled to be announced in late March, with the awards ceremony set to take place in June.
About the Awards
Now in their fourth year, the awards continue the legacy of the former BusinessGreen Leaders Awards, which launched in 2010. The programme celebrates achievements across the UK’s growing green economy and is expected to bring together more than 600 senior industry figures.
The ceremony and gala dinner will be held on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at The Brewery in Central London, as part of London Climate Action Week.

James Murray, Editor-in-Chief at BusinessGreen and Chair of Judges for the awards, said the extension followed numerous requests and was intended to maintain fairness while allowing more organisations to participate.
He confirmed that the awards timeline remains unchanged, with finalists announced in March and the ceremony scheduled for June.
